Valentine's Day Activities

We went to dinner for Valentine's day.  Here's Eva's parents.

Just before we left, Scott was playing on the floor and I got these pictures of him.

We had a fun time after dinner going dancing at Studio 600 with Michael and Jennifer and Aubrey and Liz.  Eva's parents watched Scott while we were out on our date.  Fun times.  Happy Valentine's day.

CRAWLING YES OR NO???

Ok, so we have been REALLY working with Scott on the crawling deal, it seems like slowly but surely he's getting there. So here is a little step by step:

First he is on the belly, pushing up with his hands.

Then he is on all fours.

Here is the attempt to move on all fours.

What do you think?? I think he's getting closer to doing it! I hope it happens soon, he really just wants to walk but he's got to crawl first! Any ideas or suggestions welcome!!!

Being Crafty

So I've been busy trying to re-decorate my house after putting away our Christmas decorations. I always have a hard time deciding what to do because my house looks so bare!!! Oh well, so then I decided to make some Valentine decorations. Here are some things I came up with!

This is a cute little banner, I don't think I need to translate it but I will, just for fun :) It says LOVE!!

Now, I saw this idea online and I loved it so I decided to do it!! It's a Valentine Wreath, I love how it turned out!!

Here it is on the closet door at the end of the hallway.

Last but not least I made this banner that says BE MINE, I really liked how this one turned out too!

I'm glad my house doesn't look so bare anymore. I still have LOTS of work to do.

Our house in Peru

While we were in Peru last month, we stayed in the house we have been building.  It is a newly constructed house in the same place that Eva's family lived before they moved here to Utah.  I finally got around to posting pictures.  They can be viewed by clicking here or on the link on the right side of this blog under the "Pictures" header.
The house is in Lima, Peru.  It was quite fun to go and spend time there.  The house is about a 5 minute walk from Eva's Grandma's house, and about a 20 minute drive to the closest beach.

Scott

Here are a few pictures of Scott.  He's getting bigger and able to move a bit.  He knows how crawling works, but doesn't think he can do it yet, so he rolls to places now.  He also prefers to stand and walk while holding my hands.  He's posing for the camera here.

Growing so FAST!!

Our little boy is growing so fast!!! He already has two teeth!!! I adore this little guy, he makes my day everyday. I love how he interacts more and loves to give me smiles :)

Scott weights 20lbs and his height is 28 inches long!! He's so big!! He loves to eat and he'll eat everything and anything! He loves to sit and play with his toys as well as walk backwards in his walker!! I swear he almost wants to skip crawling and start walking :)

I just love this picture, he looks so cute wearing his cute little hat!!

When he does this he sometimes moves backwards, just a little bit though.

Now he's giving me the look "are you done mom?"
