Staying at home joys!!!

I love staying at home with this little guy!! We have some great times together. This little guys is so sweet! He is getting so big by the day! He LOVES to eat! Whenever he sees somebody eat he has to eat too even though sometimes it's right after he's had his lunch or whatever.

This is what Scott does most of the day EAT!

I love days like this. Sometimes he really likes to snuggle me :) (well at least I like to pretend) I love to take naps with my little guy, although is doesn't happen often that we sleep together on the couch, but I love it when it happens!

Lately, Scott has had this "game" when we eat. He'll start eating just fine, but after a couple of bites he like to pretend like he doesn't want it and he makes the cutest face ever! But after two seconds he'll start eating again! Its cute and funny!

So here we're fine, he's just enjoying his food...

...But here is where the fun starts! He turns his face and makes the cutest face ever!!! I tried capturing it on camera but it's not nearly as cute as real life! After he makes this face he laughs and then keeps eating!!

Happy Birthday Scott!!

Our little baby turned 1, on April 30th. We had a great time, family came over and we have a little party for Scott. Since Scott loves Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, that was our theme this year!

Scott is growing so fast!! He was practicing his walking skills, and he eats everything and anything! He's a good boy and sleeps all night and still takes 2 naps during the day!! He has 8 teeth and is working on a molar. He's a happy boy and LOVES to play with his cousin Daniel!!

This past year has been a great year!! We love having Scott in our lives and enjoy every second of it!! Here is our little family!!

Almost there

Well, Scott's just about there. He has a toy to help him learn to walk and he loves walking around.

Here he says, "Hey, I can do it!"

We know that he knows how to walk, just that he doesn't have the confidence quite yet. He stands alone, furniture walks, crawls, climbs and descends stairs, etc. and pretty much gets wherever he wants whenever he wants. Except he can't get out of his crib or open doors yet :)

School and Work

I've been working on my Masters Degree of Accounting since October. I'm excited that I just finished my 5th class, and have 7 to go until I'm done and get my degree. After that, I'll take the CPA exam and get licensed.

Also, a month ago, I changed jobs. I now manage the finances at Burbach's Exterior Specialists. I also do the accounting for another company my boss owns, Plato's Closet, that will be opening soon in Bountiful, UT. It's quite fun and interesting for me to be able to gather the information needed to run reports and statements that show the profitability of certain jobs and projects. On the side, I prepare Income Taxes, and my company is Do It Right Tax Service. Now that it's after tax season, I'm not too busy with it, but I can still help you file now, or next year.

I enjoy accounting. I've known that I wanted to do it for a living since I was in high school. I guess I'm lucky in that respect. I'm also happy and lucky to have the support of my family urging me along and allowing me to go to school and further my knowledge. Thank you!

A couple of weeks ago Scott's aunt and uncle came over!!! Scott loves to play with them!!! He totally loves the attention!!
