He's Here!!!

Well, the day has finally come. Scott Eduardo Crockett was born today, April 30, 2009 at 11:31am. 8 lbs, 2 ounces, 21 inches long, with plenty of hair.

It had come after quite the hard day of labor. Wednesday was Eva's last check up appointment before her due date May 2nd, and during that visit, Eva's water broke. We then went down stairs to labor and delivery. The doctor's office is in the IMC Hospital. Then they gave Eva some medicine to get the contractions to go strong, including Pitocin, since her water was broke and then the pain got hard and after several hours of waiting, Eva was in active labor for 14 hours and they ended up doing a C-Section to get Scott here. Eva's body just wasn't big enough apparently for Scott to be born the normal way.

We're so excited! We're parents now.

Baby's Room

Here's an update of our baby's room. My awesome Mother- in-law (Sandra), Cara & Kristine made the bedding for baby Scott. I love it!! They did so well. Our baby is so spoiled already!!!

Here is a couple of other things they made for the baby. They made a diaper stacker and a picture holder that matches. It's so cute!

Here is Greg, he's pretty excited for the baby to come!! He can't wait just like me!!!

So here is our little boy's room. The room is ready for him to come and so am I :) I've been feeling some contractions and am REALLY uncomfortable. So I'm getting definitely really ready for him to come. I didn't know that the last couple of weeks could really be so miserable!!! I love feeling contractions though, I know its weird but I do, because that means my body is getting ready for him to come. Sometimes when I feel them so often I think oh, he could come today! But of course he's tricking me :) We're excited and ready.

Well, it's sure been a while since we posted something. We've been kind of busy, and just recently, our computer's card reader decided that it wouldn't recognize our camera's SD card, and we misplaced the usb cord, so we have a month's worth of pictures, and we can't do anything with them right now. Hope to figure out a way to get them put here on our blog.

We're working on getting more ready for our baby to be born. Eva had a baby shower, and all our stuff is now put in the baby's room and now I know what else Eva wants to get before Scott is born.
