California Trip

So we went to California for my friends wedding. We were crazy enough to drive there. We drove there during the night so Scott could sleep but our little guy decided that it was so much better to be awake almost all night!! He really isn't used to sleeping in the car. He will sleep anywhere as long as it's a pack and play or his bed. Well, but after so much driving, he ended up giving up and started sleeping in the car. At least he didn't cry, he was just awake. We still had a great time!! It was so fun!!

While we were there, we HAD to go to the beach!! I LOVE the beach. Utah would be the perfect state if it had a real beach. Oh well, so I had to take advantage of the amazing weather and beach!

Scott wasn't sure if he liked the water, since it was cold or even the texture of the sand (he's kinda picky like that!) But after a little while he got used to it. We didn't get in because it was windy and it was too cold for me :(

Swimming

We decided to take advantage of the good weather the other night, and went swimming. Forgot the camera at home, so no pool pictures. Scott enjoyed his little boat until he got cold, so we came home and put him in warm pajamas.


I tried to get a good picture of him, but he runs around and doesn't stay still. This is one of the best I got.


What a cute and happy little guy. Look at his smile!

Family Reunion

Well, we're a little behind schedule in making posts. At the end of June, we went to the Pearson Family Reunion. It was east of Morgan in a small town called Croydon, UT.

Kristine played her violin for the talent portion.


Scott found some toys and enjoyed playing with them.


Everyone wore name tags, and Scott's was put on his back so he wouldn't take it off. A little later, another little boy thought it would be fun, so he ran by and grabbed Scott's name tag, and ran off laughing.


Apparently, the good toys were still in the basket.

Mandarin Orange...

The other day we were at my mom's house and we were just hanging out, Scott was playing in the living room while my mom and I were talking, all of the sudden we noticed that Scott was really quiet. I went into the living and this is what I found!

He was just eating the mandarin orange UNPEELED, like nothing! He loved it!

When I took it away from him, so I could peel it he started crying! This boy is quite the little guy!

Love him to pieces!

Staying at home joys!!!

I love staying at home with this little guy!! We have some great times together. This little guys is so sweet! He is getting so big by the day! He LOVES to eat! Whenever he sees somebody eat he has to eat too even though sometimes it's right after he's had his lunch or whatever.

This is what Scott does most of the day EAT!

I love days like this. Sometimes he really likes to snuggle me :) (well at least I like to pretend) I love to take naps with my little guy, although is doesn't happen often that we sleep together on the couch, but I love it when it happens!

Lately, Scott has had this "game" when we eat. He'll start eating just fine, but after a couple of bites he like to pretend like he doesn't want it and he makes the cutest face ever! But after two seconds he'll start eating again! Its cute and funny!

So here we're fine, he's just enjoying his food...

...But here is where the fun starts! He turns his face and makes the cutest face ever!!! I tried capturing it on camera but it's not nearly as cute as real life! After he makes this face he laughs and then keeps eating!!
