Catch Up...

Here is a little collage as my way to "catch up" from last year!

Here is a little recap:

We got a new nephew - Anthony he's adorable!!

We found out we were pregnant!

Scott LOVES playing with his cousins!

Scott got a haircut!

We went to an awesome concert with Amy & Josh Egbert.

We had a nice Christmas dinner and we "attempted" to take some family pictures.

Scott DID NOT like Santa, but he did love decorating Christmas cookies with his cousins at my mom's house.

Big Kid

We moved Scott from his crib to a big kid bed today.

He was so excited for it. We took his crib down and put up the toddler bed in its place.

He drank his cup of milk, and then once he had brushed his teeth and we prayed, we put him down in the bed and tucked him in. Then we left the room and closed the door. Immediately, we heard Scott cry and get out of his bed and go to the door. First we waited to see if he'd give up crying and go back to the bed, but he didn't after a couple of minutes, so we went back in to tuck him back in. As soon as he saw us, he calmed down. We repeated the whole thing again, with leaving, closing the door, crying and getting out of bed. Maybe this would be a long night. Then we thought maybe it was too dark. We don't have a nightlight! Then we remembered we have a scentsy candle and that gives off some light, so we turned that on, and tucked Scott in, left the room and closed the door. He stayed in his bed and didn't cry!

Looks like he was just scared of the dark in his new bed without crib bars around him. We need to buy a real nightlight for him now. Let's hope he sleeps well and we'll see how it is in the morning, when he can get out of his bed by himself.

What we are up to!

I know I'm so far behind in blogging that I'm just starting fresh this year! (I think)

Well Scott loves to play with his new bike he got for Christmas and has learned to "walk" the bike. But he LOVES it!! He goes everywhere.

He also loves to play with his "papaveco" Grandpa, specially when he pretends to "ride the horse" Grandpa seems to be the best at it!

We went outside a couple of times. We wanted Scott to play with the snow. So it was one of those days that it was snowing really hard so we started getting Scott ready and put on his snowsuit. By the time we got out, it had stopped snowing. Poor little guy this is what we got:

Here is the little snow that was left! All he did was step on it.

So since there was no snow, we took the bike outside and he went for a ride!

We also had a friend come over! Hi Tom! We loved having him over, both of the kids were good and playing with each other :)

Scott loves putting things together like puzzles and such. He is actually getting pretty good at it. Here he is working at it :)

That's what I've got so far. We have mainly stayed at home the whole winter but now we're starting to go out a little more, so more exciting things should be happening!

Las Vegas

We took a short flight over to Las Vegas for a couple of nights. It was a nice, fun trip. We walked a lot and our feet got tired, but we did enjoy it. We went to celebrate my birthday. We stayed at the Treasure Island Hotel. It was easier to upload these to Facebook, so here's the link to Pictures.

One thing we didn't get any pictures of was the Phantom of the Opera show. It was really good. Plus, we had some great seats. We'd bought the seats online before we left, and when we arrived, we went to almost the back row on the far right side, and then the usher asked to look at our tickets. She asked if we'd like to move up a little bit. We said yes, and expected a couple of rows, but ended up moving forward and to the center about 15 rows! We were seated in the middle of the room and had a good view.

Our Good News!!

We are so excited to announce our wonderful new addition to our family!! We are having a baby at the end of July.

So far everything is going well, and I'm feeling ok. I have my days. I'm still teaching Zumba and will continue until it's not longer possible :) Scott loves his baby and he is always pointing at my belly saying "baby,baby"

I promise soon I'll update my blog. I know I'm so far behind. There's has been too much going lately and with a growing kid and learning new things it's hard to make time for everything else.

Once I get pics uploaded from my camera I'll be posting more often.

Toys

I don't know why I buy Scott toys. He plays with everything else! Here is the proof!

I was in the middle of laundry and cooking dinner, Scott opened my cupboard that had all my cans in it and decided to make a tower! WOW!!

He also loves to play with boxes! He had a blast!

Or my garbage can.

Or one of his favorite things is put on Papi's or Mami's shoes!
